Welcome Parents to another exciting year!

As your child’s teacher this year I look forward to a year of life long learning and growing; coupled with new experiences and exciting challenges.

In order for our students to achieve maximum school success, good parent-teacher relationships are an essential part of fostering their education. My plan of action is to incorporate exciting challenges and new educational experiences. By encouraging personal and social growth, and promoting self esteem, each student will depart with a solid foundation that will cultivate their learning capabilities.

This year students will enhance critical and analytical thinking skills, understand the purpose of phonemic awareness and reading comprehension, make inferences, and learn to problem solve. They will also be introduced to multiplication and division concepts, in addition to making oral presentations, and incorporating technology into learning in addition to other things. Most importantly, students will have fun learning all of these facets of education.

Parents, I encourage active participation in your child’s education. Throughout the year I will communicate with you through notes, telephone calls, email, progress reports, report cards, and parent-teacher conferences.
