NOTE: THE HOMEWORK PAGE IS UPDATED!!!! PLEASE CHECK IN REGULARLY :)!
Students, parents, and web surfers,
Mr. Satyal here. I am the new 7th and 8th grade math teacher here at Wilders' Prep. I am ecstatic to be a part of such a great school for the 2009-2010 school year.
A bit about myself; I have a BA in Political Science from Lewis & Clark College and a Masters in Arts and Teaching from the University of Alaska-Anchorage. I possess teaching credentials in both Social Sciences and Mathematics. In the future, I plan on obtaining my Doctorate in education.
This is my 5th year in the classroom. My first two years were in Anchorage, Alaska, teaching gifted and highly gifted high school and middle school students. From there, I moved to Los Angeles, and spent two wonderful years at Frederick Douglass Academy High School.
In my spare time, I enjoy staying fit, spending time with my girlfriend, and reading. I also love baseball. I played four years of college baseball and it shaped me into the person I am today. From following the Dodgers, to playing, to coaching, if the ball is white and stitched, I'm there :).
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me at nsatyal@wildersprepk-8.com anytime. I look forward to a wonderful school year!
Regards,
Mr. Satyal
