Students should now be reading Maniac Magee the book report is due May 17th, 2010.

Be sure you are working on your packets everyday of your spring vacation. Also, you should be reading at least 30 minutes a day.

I'm no longer taking late assignments for quarter 2 grading period.  Work harder to complete all assignments by due date this next quarter.

Book reports on The Watson's go to Birmingham is due Monday March 8, 2010.

Next Bi-Weekly tests scheduled for March 18th and 19th. Study, study study!

Make sure you are reviewing concepts and materials daily. Consider that all things we are doing in class could potentially be tested.  

Students should now be working towards memorizing all 50 states and their capitals with the location.  The first list test was just to assess knowledge of the state and capital names and spelling.  They will be working on other history content, but they will need to know all 50 states and capitals, with location and spelling by April.

Students need to review the rules and procedures for the class because the noise levels are increasing and lasting longer.  Remember 10 violations excludes you from events. Ending on red 5 times puts you on restriction where there is no recess, lunch recess, assemblies, etc., for a whole month.
