Dear Parents,

The California Standardized Test (CST) is fast approaching!  This year, the CST will be given the week of May10, which means we have approximately 30 school days left! Make sure you are reviewing the current concepts in addition to weekly and bi-weekly tests. This reinforcement will help ensure that your child is mastering the material.

In addition, please continue to check your child’s homework and sign the homework assignment sheet.  Also, as a reminder, spelling contracts are weekly assignments that are due each Friday. The spelling contracts are designed to help your child review spelling for the Friday tests.  So make sure they are turned in.

• Apr. 1-9       Spring Break

Please keep in mind that for April, the students will need to either purchase or check out the book: Matilda by Roald Dahl and have Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein for May!

This month, your child will complete a Character Poster from the book The Tale of Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo.
