ALL CLASSES. The recent scores on the Spelling Test were HORRIBLE! Please review the following strategies to study for the next Test Scheduled on November 25th:

• Create and Use Flashcards.
• Have a parent, guardian, brother or sister quiz you before the test.
• Try using the words in daily conversation at the breakfast or dinner table.
• Create a rap/chant/song where you spell out each word.
• Turn off the T.V. or radio, write the word from memory and turn the T.V or radio on again. Repeat as many times as words you have. 

8th graders What's new?

• Tolerance Portfolio- Special project that will use the novel Night as a resource and fulfill the Donors Choose agreement. Mandatory fieldtrip to the Museum of Tolerance is also combined with the portfolio.
• Fieldtrip is scheduled for 2/5/2009.

Behavior Expectations:  All 8^th grade students will stay on task and follow the posted classroom rules as well as the Code of Conduct for WPACS. Teachers will provide reports to parents of students who experience difficulty with behaving as expected. Students may be restricted from 8^th grade activities if behavior and disciplinary situations do not change. As an 8^th grade leader students will be held to even higher expectations behaviorally
