 This year we will build on the knowledge previously acquired in Kindergarten and I am looking forward to being your child’s learning partner and guide as we put the pieces together!  My duty is to provide instruction that will assist ALL students in excelling academically and socially; and, to develop a love for learning that will last a lifetime.

Please feel free to participate in your child’s first grade year as much as you are able. Volunteers are always needed. Reading a story to the class, helping with field trips or class parties, or any other participation will truly enrich our classroom experiences.

In closing, I would just like to say that I am looking forward to a GREAT school year and working with you and your child. It is my goal to provide your child with a positive, stimulating and FUN first grade experience.
