Wilder's Preparatory Academy Charter School is dedicated to providing excellence in education for all students. Our focus embraces a strong research based college preparatory curriculum.
DonorsChoose was founded by teachers at a Bronx public high school in the spring of 2000, and is dedicated to addressing the scarcity and inequitable distribution of learning materials and experiences in our public schools. DonorsChoose is a simple way to provide students in need with resources that our public schools often lack. At the DonorsChoose web site, teachers submit project proposals for materials or experiences their students need to learn. These ideas become classroom reality when concerned individuals choose projects to fund. To date Donors Choose has collectively raised $35,176,453 for 2,229,292 students nationwide. Donor's Choose is a program that works great for public schools, especially underfunded schools, allowing "Caring Contributors" to allocate funds or resources to itemized teacher proposals!
