The WPACS Student Council is designed to act as a liaison between the student body, teachers, and administration.  In order to run for Student Council  students  must meet certain qualifications.  They Must have a “C” or better in all classes, have  good attendance , be willing to attend meetings consistently, and display good citizenship.  Student Council sponsors activities and works to find ways to improve our school and the community.

Why Choir?  “Music is the divine way to tell beautiful, poetic things to the heart,” said Pablo Casals a famous artist and musician.  This choir is a volunteer group of students who rehearse regularly during the school year.  Students perform a minimum of two concerts each year with the possibility of additional performances during or outside the school day (such as the Black History Program and TCCDC Christmas Program).  Students are challenged to sing high quality musical literature with an emphasis technique.

K.W.E.S.T.

K.W.E.S.T. (pronounced like quest and it stands for Kids Working in Engineering, Science and Technology) - This club introduces students to areas in Engineering, Science and Technology such as design and robotics.  Students will also have the opportunity to participate in the Middle School Design Build Program.

 Recycle Club

Gives students opportunities to participate in discussions with others interested in recycling and learning about the environment. This club is facilitated by Ms. Jenkins-Stark and meets each week on Thursday.

Activities may include clay, paper mache, candle making, tie-dye, sculpted-modeling clay, and others. Student work will be displayed throughout the school year. Stay posted for our first art show and exhibit.
